Angela has had a passion for working with young people for many years. When she was just 14 years old she co-ran a children’s program for the 2-4 year-olds for the Evangelistic Series conducted by Ernestine Finley in Portland, Maine. Since that time, she has been involved in running or assisting with numerous children’s programs. In fact, as a teenager you couldn’t make her happier than to ask her to run a children’s program.
During her time in college, Angela worked for 1 ½ years as a part-time teacher’s aide at Pine Hills Adventist Academy in Auburn, California. She absolutely loved her time there.
In 2016 Angela transferred to Andrews University where she finished her degree in Elementary Education. She holds a certification in Elementary Education in the states of Indiana and Michigan with special endorsements in Social Studies and Spanish K-12 Instruction.
Angela loves to mentor young people and help them make positive choices in their lives. She desires to lead young people to develop a saving relationship with Jesus and find the beautiful plan that He has for their lives. She is excited to help teach students that their bodies are the temple of God and how they can live healthier, more productive lives for God. She is very passionate about the Spanish language. She has spent time abroad in Spain and Argentina; as well as traveling through much of South America.
On May 19, 2019, Angela married the love of her life, Pastor Thomas Clark. She is grateful to God for giving her such a loving and kind husband who puts God first in His life. She is excited for how God opened the doors for her and her husband to continue doing ministry together and open Maple Creek Adventist Academy in August 2021.
Hobbies that Angela enjoys include cooking, gardening, playing the piano, crocheting, camping, backpacking, hiking, snowboarding, ice skating, and just spending time out in nature. She enjoys spending time with her husband and working in ministry together. She also has fun spending time with their cat, Levi.
